Happy 15th.

By Sherry, January 3, 2010 7:30 am

To my brother,

Happy 15th birthday you freak. It’s about time you grew up and be a man! The problem is.. WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE TALLER THAN ME?! its unfair thats what…

Remember when I’d blackmail you into playing Barbie dolls with me? Or when your Ultraman and Power Rangers figurines would invade Barbieworld and rob her of all her clothes? Ah… the torture those dolls used to go through…

I miss those times when we’d physically fight. And we’d each threaten to call mum - only to shut up when dad answers the phone. Like the times when you’d step on my foot… and kick my knees… and try to hit me… and i’d hold your favourite stuff high and taunt you because you couldn’t reach it.

Ahh.. the good old days when you were shorter…

Oh well, i suppose its a good thing you’re growing taller as well. Especially since I refuse to take care of you if no girls want you. But really, who could ever resist that cocky smile of yours? It just makes them wanna slap you. Oh wait, maybe that’s just me.

Congrats on getting straight A’s for PMR. As promised I’m getting you those Converse you wanted. You’re making your elder sis broke. What kind of gentlemanly attitude is that? Shouldn’t you hv belanja-ed me instead?

Okay, I kid. I’m loving the BodyShop lipbalm i got for my birthday. Its waaaaaay nicer than the A4 ‘Happy Birthday’ I got last year :P

So once again to my dear brother, Happy 15th and make sure I’m the only one who still bullies you. Its my right as your sister. I insist.

Take care and have a good year ahead :)

.

Sincerely from your abusive sis,
Me. Like duh.

.

ps. If I ever get addicted to TowerDefence, its YOUR fault >(

pps. Hey you possible girlfriends out there, if you’re shorter than me, you get my vote! :D

The Pre-20 Dinner

Well, its pretty much out of the bag now. Thanks for keeping it such a secret everyone. And that was sarcasm - just in case you don’t recognise it.

The internet is a sucky place to deliver sarcasm. gah.

Anyways, my birthday was… simply awesome.
(minus the fact that I had to leave the very next day)

And I guess I’m supposed to gloat, show off and post numerous pictures of my gorgeous self, my awesome dinner and more pof my gorgeous self. And in case you missed it, “supposed to” means “I should but I;m too lazy to actually do it”. Lucky you?

This is partly a thank you and partly just because I wanted to gloat. Kidding. the gloating part i mean. Ok. I lied. I looked gorgeous *self praise* so here i go: *gloats with glee* ngek ngek ngek :D

My date for the evening.

Camwhoring right outside in the chill winds. The view was spectacular, with a wide view of the city and its surrounding suburbs. That said, we didn’t stay long. Not that we didn’t want to, but we were literally shivering. Believe me.. it was cc-c-o-ooo-ooo-l-lll-dd…

Guess it didn’t help that my so called heater didn’t actually work either. wtf.

my ‘girly’ drink. Can’t recall, a cosmopolitan perhaps?

For some strange reason, there was a slight feeling of deja vu when I entered the restaurant. And i’m pretty sure I’ve never been there - i’d hv remembered for sure. Odd.

Clare Valley Veal with Grilled Potatoes and Puff Pastry. or something like that.

Oh, I think I forgot to mention the name of the place. Sorry, my bad. Pictures are taken at Windy Point Restaurant, Adelaide. Beautiful decor which compliments the unique architecture of the place lending a sense of welcoming yet intimite ambience (and no, i didn’t copy tht from somewhere). I’d personally recommend it for that special occassion :)

Food was fab. The veal was not overly cooked with the flavours of the meat still fully intact. Loved the grilled potatoes with the green sauce. Might hv some spinach blended in there somewhere, I’m not sure. But awesome. Wish they’d given more though..

The view. Not that you can see much from here. but the lights were beautiful.

I especially liked the lighting of this place. Its dim, but not too dark that you can’t see your food. I see mostly two-seaters bt there are a few bigger tables that could hold quite a few people. Things were muted and there weren’t any rowdy conversations. It really does feel.. nice. And expensive. lol.

just in case you aren’t bored of my face yet :D

Tried taking a picture with the night view behind us. But it was too dark. And its not like you can really see the lights anyways. Unfortunately. It would’ve been beautiful…

My present ♥

I loved it. love it love it love it! I guess sparkly things really does appeal to a girl’s heart.

All that aside, thanks for the facebook msges, the mms-es, the phonecalls, the sms-es, the cakes and of course, the pressiesssss! I heart heart heart you guys for putting so much thought into it! haha.. really had fun and believe me, I will NEVER look at cherry in the same way anymore… =.= (sounds like I’m giving a speech from the Oscars?)

Ps. I’m loving the chocs from my PD! ♥ I know it was difficult for you, but you still did it… thank youuuuuuu
